As of January 1, 2020, employers can offer employees an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) instead of a traditional group health plan. Instead of offering a one-size-fits-all group plan, businesses of any size can provide employees with a tax-free monthly allowance to purchase health insurance.
